Welcome! Like the book of the same name, this blog is an eclectic collection of Sherlockian scribblings based on more than a half-century of reading Sherlock Holmes. Please add your own thoughts. always1895.net Looks at The 1895 Murder

Fiction writing is such a solitary task that it's a thrill beyond explaining when one realizes that others not only read your books, but enjoy them. The always enjoyable always1895.net blog has posted a highly favorable review of The 1895 Murder. My favorite part is where he dubs my fictional world "the Benignusverse" in honor of St. Benignus College, where Sebastian McCabe and Jeff Cody both work. Matt also ran an interview with me that was extremely fun to do. Read it and you will almost certainly find out something about me that you didn't already know.
