The Italian Persecution of John Vincent Harden

I'm excited to announce that my Sherlock Holmes short story, "The Peculiar Persecution of John Vincent Harden," is being translated into Italian!

Translator Gabriele Caredda tells me that the working title is "La peculiare persecuzione di John Vincent Harden." It may take a couple of months to complete. I can speak, write, and read Italian, but not well enough to venture a translation, so I'm really delighted that someone else has.

This little story of mine, written more than 20 years ago, has certainly gotten around. It won a contest sponsored by the Mysteries from the Yard bookstore in Yellow Springs, Ohio, and since has been published in The Sherlock Holmes Review, in my Baker Street Beat: An Eclectic Collection of Sherlockian Scriblings, and then as a stand-alone e-book, which has proved quite popular.

The new translation, when completed, will be the second translation available of the story available in e-book format. It has also been rendered into Persian -- but I don't think anyone has bought it yet in that language!
