Ken and Barbie Holmes
Some years ago, Joel and Carolyn Senter of Classic Specialties gave my wife, Ann, a Christmas gift Ken and Barbie dolls dressed as Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler. We recently took them out of the doll cabinet and put them on display in our Sherlock Holmes library.
The clothing, it turns out, was tailored by the delightful Marcy Mahle, a devoted member of the Agra Treasurers scion society in Dayton. She told me she would be happy to make these clothes for other people, although the colors would be a bit different.
The price would be $20 for Irene (dress, cape, hat, reticule, shoes) and $25 for Holmes (pants, shirt, vest, cape, deerstalker and shoes) plus shipping. Interested? E-mail Marcy at sherlockmarcy@woh.rr.com.
