Holmes in Haiku

Our middle child, Technical Sgt. Michael Andriacco, USAF, poetically summarized the first Sherlock Holmes story this way:

A Scandal in Bohemia
Young indiscretion
A king, disguise and photo
Adler escapes Holmes

Not bad at all! As you may know, a haiku is an unrhymed Japanese poetry form with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, five in the third.

Isaac Asimov, if I recall correctly, wrote a limerick for each story in the Holmes Canon. Sgt. Mike planned to do the same with haiku, but he seems to be a bit busy now in Afghanistan. Would anyone else like to try a hand at it?
