Tomorrow marks the 122nd anniversary of the birth of Vincent Starrett, the great Sherlockian who created the popular phrase "it is always eighteen ninety-five."
How do I know? Because I read the blog Always 1895, and you should, too. This is Vincent Starrett Week over there, so be sure and check it out.
Meanwhile, at least one faithful reader of this blog will be intrigued to know that the third installment in my Sebastian McCabe mystery series (which some romantics may be inclined to think of as the Jeff Cody - Lynda Teal series) will be entitled The 1895 Murder.
The third installment? But what happened to the second book? I'm glad you asked. That's Holmes Sweet Holmes, and you can look for it in the spring. The first draft is cooling off now, awaiting editing.
