Sherlock's Home -- in Seven Languages

Sherlock's Home, The Empty House, an anthology created by my publisher, MX Publishing, to raise money for the Save Undershaw campaign, is now available in seven languages.

One of the translators on the Italian version, La Casa Vuota, was Gabriele Caredda. I am proud to say that Gabriele is translating my Sherlock Holmes short story, "The Peculiar Persecution of John Vincent Harden," into "La singolare persecuzione di John Vincent Harden."
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Gabriele and 39 other volunteer translators, the translations of Sherlock's Home were released on Amazon UK this week.

The original English language book was created last year to raise awareness for the effort to preserve Undershaw, the home where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote The Hound of the Baskervilles and other great stories. It was produced by Sherlockology and MX Publishing within four weeks.

Volunteer editors culled entries from more than 300 writers/actors/fans from around the world to select 40 stories/poems/writings. Contributors included Holmes actors Stephen Fry, Mark Gatiss, and Douglas Wilmer. The cover marks the first time that four iconic Holmes portrayers appeared together on a book over.
